Ikenna Egbukole is an experienced and technically astute trade expert in structured trade finance, with over 20 years of experience across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He holds a BSc in Insurance from Imo State University and an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School. He is also an alumnus of INSEAD Business School, France (Advanced Management Programme).

Ikenna began his career in 2002 at Assurance Bank Limited as a Relationship Officer in the Commercial Banking Group. Over the years, he transitioned through various roles in Corporate and Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, and Structured Trade Finance at Zenith Bank, Bank PHB, Stanbic IBTC Bank, and First Bank of Nigeria. Focusing on originating, structuring, and managing complex trade finance transactions both locally and globally, he has earned recognition and accolades in the industry.

Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Mitsun Group, Ikenna continues to champion landmark trade finance deals while promoting professionalism and excellence in the finance sector. His extensive experience, coupled with his commitment to advancing trade finance practices, makes him a trusted leader in the field.

He possesses exceptional skills in providing strategic direction to ensure the smooth functioning of operations, demonstrating a keen understanding of objectives and challenges.

In honor of his late father, HRH Eze Mitchell Ezesomaga Egbukole (Ochoronma IV of Egbu Autonomous community), a staunch advocate for charity and youth empowerment, Ikenna established the Eze Mitchell Egbukole Foundation.
