Lawrence Nze graduated from Imo State University with a BSc. in Banking and Finance. After graduation, he did his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with Chase Merchant Bank, Lagos.
He continued to work with the bank after his Youth Service for a few years. He then left for the UK.
While in the UK, he gained employment with the Royal Mail Group.
After several years of working, he rose to the position of manager covering several delivery offices in the Greater London Area.

In 2005, Lawrence returned to Nigeria to set up his own private business.

He ventured into the Waste/Facility Management, Environmental Sector in Abuja, and later established his own company Hygiene Limited.

Major clients include PHCN Lagos/Abuja, Keystone Bank, Zenith Bank, Fortis Bank, FOCI HQ Lagos Christian Association  of Nigeria (CAN) , Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB).

He is happily married with children.
